Race Description/Details:
The North Carolina Victim Assistance Network (NCVAN) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 1986 and the only statewide agency dedicated to serving loved ones of homicide victims and others impacted by violent crime.
We invite survivors, family members, loved ones, friends, runners, walkers, allied professionals, and all community supporters to join us for the 14th Annual Know Hope 5K Walk/Run: Remembering Victims of Homicide. This event honors the lives of those taken by violence while raising critical funds to support NCVAN's statewide services.
Whether you are a competitive runner participating in our professionally timed 5K, a walker supporting the cause at your own pace, or a virtual participant joining us from your hometown, your involvement supports those affected by violent crime.
We also encourage participants to form fundraising teams, invite family and friends, and help expand awareness of the needs of homicide survivors throughout our state. Together, we can remember lives taken by violence and ensure that no one walks this journey alone.
Walk. Run. Remember. Know Hope.
