Join us for the 16th Annual Turkey Trot 5K - a fun, family-friendly way to kick off your Thanksgiving while making a meaningful impact in our community! All proceeds benefit The Christian Mission, providing food, clothing, housing assistance, case management, and educational programs to over 6,000 local individuals and families in need.

Financial donations and donations of canned goods or shelf-stable food items are welcomed and appreciated on race day! There will be a designated drop off area for canned good/shelf-stable food donations.

We kindly encourage you to arrive early to find parking. Parking options include Christ Community Church (615 N Main St), Mi Veracruz (761 N. Main), James McCall: Allstate (961 N. Main), Patisserie Café (627 N Main St), and other nearby parking lots of closed businesses.

Pick up your race packet early to avoid race-day lines and explore The Christian Mission’s impact firsthand! Located at The Christian Mission (919 North Main St. in Mooresville)
Monday, Nov. 23: 10:00 am–2:00 pm & 5:00–7:00 pm
Tuesday, Nov. 24: 10:00 am - 2:00 pm
Wednesday, Nov. 25: 9:00 am–12:00 pm
🏁 Race Day Schedule – Thursday, November 26th
8:00 AM – Participant arrival, on-site registration, packet pickup (for anyone who hasn't picked up yet), and pre-race activities
8:30 AM – Kids Fun Run (½ mile for ages 10 & under)
9:00 AM – Wave 1: Competitive runners (estimated finish time under 25 minutes)
9:05 AM – Wave 2: Recreational runners (estimated finish time 25–40 minutes)
9:10 AM – Wave 3: Walkers, families with young children, and participants with strollers
Important: No race-day registration or bib pickup on race day after 8:30 AM.

All registrations are non-refundable and considered a donation to The Christian Mission
T-shirts are only guaranteed for registrations received before November 12—so sign up early!
Food donations gratefully accepted on race day - there will be a donation spot available.
