Miles For Mutts Presented by To Love a Canine Rescue

Welcome to our 12th Annual Miles for Mutts 5k Race & 1 Mile Fun Walk Presented by To Love a Canine Rescue!

Our Annual Miles for Mutts 5k Run & 1 Mile Walk fundraiser is back! This event has been one of our biggest & most fun fundraisers. The proceeds from this event will benefit TLC Rescue’s life-saving mission to give dogs in need a better tomorrow.  

We'll have race t-shirts, prizes for top individual fundraisers, medals for the fastest runners, and more!

Whether you choose to run, walk or you're just in it for the T-Shirt, you'll be saving lives! Your race fee* will directly impact dogs in need from feeding a foster dog for a week, covering the cost of a vaccination for a puppy, offering a week of Heartworm treatment to a dog who may not be rescued otherwise, or supplying a pregnant momma dog with the supplies she needs to whelp a brand new litter of puppies. 

 
How does it work:

Miles for Mutts is a hybrid 5k run / 1 mile walk: choose how you want to participate - In-Person OR Virtually!

In Person:
This event takes place on Sunday, October 18, 2026 from 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM at Wilson Farm Park in Wayne, PA (500 Lee Road).  The race officially starts at 9:00 AM.  

• 5k Run - Race to compete for the best time in waves with other runners! (dogs are welcome!)
• 1 Mile Walk - Enjoy a 1 Mile Walk around the beautiful park with your friends, family, and DOGS!

Virtually:

• Complete a 5K (3.1 Miles) run/walk(s) any time and anywhere and enter your time on October 18! No need to complete the entire 5k at once! You can break it up any way you choose!
• To our serious runners who are already running marathons / half marathons - consider dedicating your first or last 3.1 miles to the pups of TLC Rescue!
• Register for the Race between now & October 18th at 8:45 AM EST.

Pricing: 

Registration Opens on August 17th at 9 AM and runs through race day, October 18th, at 8:45 AM!  No refunds will be given.

Early Registration: Monday, August 17th at 9 AM - Wednesday, September 30 at 11:59 PM
Signing up for early registration guarantees you a Race T-Shirt and a $5 discounted race price for in-person racing!
In-Person Participants (5k and 1-mile): $35
Virtual Participants: $40

Regular Registration: Thursday, October 1 at 12 AM - Sunday, October 18 at 8:45 AM
Shirts will not be available for participants who register during this time.

Fundraising:

Consider being a fundraiser for TLC to amplify your impact! When you reach the "Fundraising" page during registration, simply click "Become a Fundraiser" to set up your individual fundraiser! You can create a fundraiser for each person in your registration transaction. Add an image, write your story, and share the fundraiser wherever you want! You'll receive an email after you sign up with your fundraising information and an opportunity to make changes if you choose!
