From the Organizer
Get ready to lace up those running shoes because it's time for the annual MFoA 5k, 10k, and 1-mile fun run!
When you register for our MFoA races, your fee doesn't just cover the run, it also supports the fundraising efforts of the festival and arts scholarships in our community!
Join us on Saturday, June 20th, at 7:30 am sharp for the 1-mile fun run, 7:45 for the 10k start and 08:05 for the 5k. We kick off the excitement for the 5k and 10k just past the Post Office on Smith St. 5k runners will dash down Atlantic Avenue to Seaview, then make a right onto Humphrey Street, ending at our finish line at Marblehead High School. As for our 10k challengers, you'll start at the Post Office too, but hang a left on Atlantic, take a scenic loop around the Neck, and finish strong at the High School. The 1-mile loop starts at the post office and loops onto Atlantic, the rail-trail, and around the high school.
Can't make it in person? Sign up for one of our virtual races!
The 1st and 2nd place finishers in each age division for the 5k and 10k receive awards, as will all runners 10 and under who complete the 1-mile fun run. Runners registered by June 1 will receive a performance-wicking race t-shirt. We will have the Festival of Arts logo store on-site this year with festival shirts, gear and glassware available for purchase.
So, grab your most artsy running gear, mark your calendars, and let's hit the pavement together!
