Join us for the 4th Annual Colors of Cancer Memorial 5K Charity Event honoring LouAnn Burchfield and Kathy Hannan Hale, benefiting cancer patients and their families through The Sunshine Charity 💛
All proceeds support local families battling cancer, helping with essential needs such as co-pays, groceries, gas, travel, lodging, and more.
The race begins at Tri B’s Coffee Shop and follows a flat, scenic route along the Ohio River, making it perfect for runners and walkers of all levels. After the race, stay and enjoy the community atmosphere, including specialty drinks from Tri B’s with proceeds benefiting The Sunshine Charity.

🌈 IMPORTANT – KIDS FUN RUN DETAILS:
The Kids Rainbow Dash is designed specifically for children ages 12 and under.
This is a short ~1K out-and-back course meant to be fun, quick, and kid-friendly.
⚠️ Adults should NOT register for the Kids Fun Run.
If you are looking for a longer distance, please register for one of the 5K options.
🎨 Get decked out in as many colors as you like — the brighter, the better!
Many participants choose colors that represent a specific cancer to honor loved ones.
💻 Virtual Option:
Can’t attend in person? Participate from anywhere! Share your photos and who you’re honoring on our social media pages.
🌿 Leisure Option:
Not looking to race? The Leisure Option allows you to walk, jog, or participate at your own pace without timing or competition. You’ll still be part of the event and celebration — just without the pressure.
💛 Leading up to the event, we encourage participants to share stories and honor loved ones in our Facebook group. Funds raised will be distributed to families in need following race day.
