October 30 5K Longsleeve Update:
We’re beyond excited to share that this week has been record-breaking — registrations are already up 20% over last year! Because of the amazing turnout, our long-sleeve 5K quantities shirts are running a low. If you signed up after Monday, Oct. 27, you’ll still get a t-shirt, but it may be one from our Long Branch merch collection, we are running low on mediums and smalls across our inventory. Thank you for your understanding!
The Long Branch 5K Fun Run is a family-oriented community event. Proceeds from the event fund the efforts of Discover Long Branch and the Long Branch Business League in addition to supporting the annual Long Branch Festival, one of our major community events! The Long Branch 5K will be held on November 2nd, 2025 in Long Branch, MD.

Parking: Participants are asked to walk to the race start if possible. If you need to drive, please park at the Long Branch Community Center — 8700 Piney Branch Rd, Silver Spring, MD 20901.

Long Branch 5K Packet Pick-Up Party
We’re kicking off race weekend with a Packet Pick-Up Party at El Gavilan on Thursday, October 30, from 5:00–8:00 PM. Stop by to pick up your race t-shirt, meet fellow participants, and enjoy El Gavilan Happy Hour and Dinner Specials while you’re there! El Gavilan - 8805 Flower Ave, Silver Spring, MD 20901
We encourage all participants to pick up their packets early to avoid race morning lines—then you can arrive on Sunday ready to run, walk and most importantly - HAVE FUN!
Onsite Check-In: Onsite registration and check-in will open at 7:00 AM on November 2nd at Long Branch Garland Park. Please plan to arrive early to ensure a smooth start before the 8:00 AM Kick-Off.
