From the Organizer
Gentle Hands And Feet was founded in 2019 with a vision to create a welcoming and inclusive community for individuals with cognitive, developmental and physical disabilities. We believe that all individuals deserve a place where they are valued, supported and empowered to thrive. Our goal is to create an indoor recreational space, designed to meet the specific needs of individuals with different abilities. A place to engage in recreational activities, express creativity and make meaningful connections.
The purpose of this 5k is to celebrate inclusion, to raise awareness for a future where everyone has the same opportunity to belong. Let’s level the playing field, turning abilities into possibilities. All funds raised go to GHF to help move us one step closer to fulfilling this mission and vision.
