The L.E.A.D. Community 5K
September 19, 2026 | Mohawk Harbor | Schenectady, NY
Join us for the inaugural L.E.A.D. Community 5K, a fun and inspiring event designed to bring our community together while supporting local youth. Whether you're an experienced runner, casual walker, family, student, or community supporter, this event is for everyone.
Hosted by the Legacy Empowering Adolescent Development (L.E.A.D.) Foundation, this event goes beyond the race itself. Participants will have the opportunity to connect with local nonprofits, youth organizations, businesses, and community resources that are making a positive impact throughout the Capital Region.
The L.E.A.D. Foundation provides free after-school wellness, fitness, nutrition, mentorship, and leadership programming for local students. Every registration, sponsorship, and donation helps us continue expanding these life-changing opportunities for youth in our community.
Come run, walk, learn, and celebrate with us as we build a healthier, stronger, and more connected Schenectady one step at a time.
Registration Prices:
- 5K Run/Walk - $30
- Kids 1 Mile Run/Walk - Free
