Here are a few points you need to keep in mind before registering for the Last Chance Mile.
There are NO restrooms available within the park.
Lakeshore Park is not staffed daily in the off season. If we get hammered with snow, there will be no plowing or salting of the park roads.
In the event of very bad weather on race morning, we may have to make the tough call of cancelling the event for safety. If this happens, will will make one attempt to reschedule to January 4, 2026. If we are unable to complete the event on January 4th everyone will be transferred to a virtual event. No refunds.
With all this being said, we live in Northeast Ohio, it snows. If we only get a few inches of fresh snow fall with no widespread surface icing, we fully intend to move forward with the event. If you have any questions, please ask!
