Kristen's Run Against Violence is a running race on October 3, 2026 in Dunn, NC, with an entry fee of $30.
From the Organizer
On 10/03/2025 the City of Dunn Police Department is hosting a 5k fun run event and the proceeds for the event will be donated to SAFE of Harnett County. The start/finish line will be at Tyler Park in Dunn (803 W. Harnett Street). SAFE of Harnett County is a not for profit organization that supports victims of domestic violence and sexual assault and they are a great resource to the communities that they serve. The start time for the race is 8am.
The run is named after Kristen Caudle who was killed in a violent domestic violence assault. Kristen's mother, Rhonda, has not only been a warrior for her daughter through her killers trial but she has still managed to find time for volunteering and raising money for many other needs in our community.
We will have a DJ and other forms of entertainment at the park as well for those who come out to show their support.
