The City of Dunn Police Department is proud to host Kristen’s Run, a 5K Fun Run benefiting SAFE of Harnett County.
All proceeds from runner registrations and donations made through the event website will go directly to SAFE of Harnett County to support their mission of helping victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. SAFE is an incredible resource for individuals and families in our community who find themselves facing dangerous and difficult situations.
❤️ Running for Kristen
This event is named in memory of Kristen Caudle, who was tragically killed in a violent domestic violence assault.
Kristen’s mother, Rhonda, has been a true warrior for her daughter throughout the trial of Kristen’s killer. Despite everything she has endured, Rhonda has continued to give back to our community through volunteering, fundraising, and helping others in need.
Kristen’s Run is about remembering Kristen, supporting Rhonda, and helping other individuals avoid the same kind of tragedy.
🏃 Registration Information
Online registration will remain open until 7:00 PM Friday night.
Those who register on-site Saturday morning will pay the increased registration rate of $40 per runner.
👕 Race shirts are guaranteed for everyone registered by September 15. We will do our best to anticipate additional shirt needs for those registering after that date, but shirts cannot be guaranteed.
🎧 We will also have a DJ and other entertainment at Tyler Park, so come out whether you're running, walking, cheering on participants, or simply showing your support for SAFE and Kristen's family.
