Knock On Wood Trail Run/Hike - 13.1 & 10k is an ultra and running race on May 1, 2027 in Marietta, SC, with entry fees from $35 to $40.
From the Organizer
Come knock on Woodstock. The trails will answer. ☮️
“A 10K trail groove with around 650 feet of sweet, rolling elevation per loop. It's got flow, it's got rhythm, and it's got over 90% shade so your chakras stay cool. Run one loop for the Hipster Hustle 10K, or two for the Forest Funk Half Marathon. Sign up. Show up. Shine on.
Pleasant Ridge County Park sits up against the Blue Ridge escarpment, and the trail through Camp Spearhead is the kind of singletrack that rewards rhythm over raw speed — rolling, shaded, and consistently runnable, with 650 feet of gain per lap that arrives in pieces rather than one long wall. Directional arrows will guide your path, so you can spend the day looking at the woods instead of hunting for markers.
One stellar aid station sits at the main shelter and you hit it every loop. Afterward: music, a post-race party, event-themed giveaways, and a race sticker with rainbow flair for your bottle, cooler, or gear bin. The first 100 participants get custom race socks. Every finisher receives a medal, and your entry supports local nonprofits through the Giving Series.

This race spans more than one sport — here’s a guide to each, so you can understand what’s involved and decide if it’s the right fit. For course distances, logistics, and race-day specifics, always defer to the race organizer’s event page.
An ultramarathon is anything beyond the standard marathon — 50K, 50-mile, 100K, 100-mile, and timed events. Crossing the line is less about speed and more about not quitting.
From 5K to marathon, running races are an accessible entry point into endurance sport. There's a distance for every fitness level and a community at every start line.
