Where Family, Freedom, and Community Come Together
Celebrate Juneteenth at the 6th Annual Cen-Tex Juneteenth Freedom Run 5K, hosted by the Innovation Black Chamber of Commerce. This year’s theme, Family Rooted in Tradition, honors the generations who paved the way for opportunity while bringing today’s families and communities together in celebration of freedom, resilience, and progress.
This annual race is more than a run. It is a community movement.
Proceeds from the race support the Juneteenth Relief Grant, a program designed to provide financial assistance to Black-owned businesses across Central Texas. This grant initiative was created to help strengthen local entrepreneurship and support business owners facing financial challenges.
Grant applications are submitted by local business owners and reviewed by a community selection committee, which determines which businesses will receive funding made possible through the support of runners, walkers, sponsors, and community partners.
Your participation directly contributes to empowering local businesses and building stronger economic opportunities within our community.
Your registration as a runner or walker includes:
• Official 2026 Cen-Tex Juneteenth Family Rooted in Tradition 5K T-Shirt (for the first 200 participants)
• Finisher’s Towel
• Swag Bag from community partners
Participants are encouraged to stay after the race for medal presentations and continue the celebration at the Juneteenth Festival, which will begin shortly after the race concludes.
The festival will feature:
• Local Vendors
• Food Trucks
• Family Activities and Games
• Live Performances
• Community Celebrations
• Presentation of the Juneteenth Relief Grants made possible through this race
The Cen-Tex Juneteenth Family Rooted in Tradition 5K is also part of the Cen-Tex Race Series, bringing together runners from across the region for a meaningful and memorable experience.
Bring your family.
Bring your friends.
Help us celebrate freedom, tradition, and community impact.
Together, we run. Together, we uplift our community.
