Try the Tri is Terrace Park's neighborhood triathlon — a friendly, low-key swim-bike-run designed to give kids and adults their first taste of multisport racing, right here in our own backyard. Whether your six-year-old wants to try their first race or a parent is finally giving triathlon a go, this is the place to start.
RACE DETAILS:
Who: Anyone turning 6 this year (2026) and older (must be able to swim without flotation aids and ride without training wheels.
When: Saturday August 30, 2026
Where: Terrace Park Swim Club
Benefit: All proceeds will benefit the Terrace Park Swim & Tennis Club
Divisions: 6-9, 10-13, 14-16, 17-55, 56 and over, Relays
Ages will be determined based on your age on 12/31/2026
Relays:
Kids relay (all participants under 13 years old.
Family relay (mixed age groups) - At least one participant must be age 14 or under.
Adult relay (all participants 14 years old or older)
Awards:
Prizes for top 3 finishers in each age group
top relay team in each relay category
Registration Fee:
$30 - Individuals 13 and under - Discount will be taken at checkout
$50 - Individuals 14 and over
$80 - Kids Relay Teams
$100 - Family and Adult Relay Teams
Note: For teams, the first person to sign up pays for the entire team. There will be no charge for the 2nd and 3rd persons on the team.
T-Shirts:
Registration includes a race shirt for each participant (while supplies last).
A shirt is included for all participants registered by 8/9/26.
Gear:
A HELMET and BIKE are required for all participants.
A bike check must be completed before racing – details will be provided to registrants as the race gets closer.
Race Day Check-in:
Check-in opens 7:15
Transition Area closes at 7:45
Race time 8:00 a.m. with a staggered start for age groups.
