From the Organizer
HyRise is a local hybrid race that mirrors the well known HYROX race format. It will consist of both running and strength challenges! It is a great challenge for overall fitness to test limits in both cardio and strength endurance. The race will include 6 strength challenges, with a 1000-meter run between each. It is a fun way to engage in this popular race at a level that suits all who want to try it out in a local setting.
Participants can choose to do a 1/2 HyRise on race day, which would be a shortened run and 1/2 reps at each challenge.
IN ADDITION… All participants will receive an official HyRise T-Shirt when you sign up and register on or before July 31.
Come on out and give it a try!
There is also a HyRise training group that meets every T/TH at the race location at 545am. Email race director for more info.
