From the Organizer
Hustle for Habitat is a community 5K run/walk fundraiser hosted by the University of Wisconsin–Madison chapter of Habitat for Humanity in support of Habitat for Humanity of Dane County. The event raises funds and awareness for affordable homeownership programs that help low- to moderate-income families achieve long-term housing stability. Proceeds support the construction and financing of permanently affordable homes, made possible through volunteer labor, homeowner education, and 0%-interest, income-based mortgages. Hustle for Habitat brings together students, families, and community members to promote housing equity and invest in the long-term wellbeing of Dane County residents.
