Start your Fair Week the right way with an unforgettable run through the heart of one of Michigan’s most beloved communities. The Hudsonville Community Fair 5K welcomes runners, walkers, families, students, and fair lovers to a high-energy, community-centered race experience.

All ages, all paces, all welcome!

Presented by Renewed Physical Therapy, a local Hudsonville clinic helping people move, recover, and stay active!

• Date: Saturday, August 22, 2026
• Start Time: 9:00 AM SHARP
• Location: Hudsonville Community Fairgrounds, 5235 Park Ave, Hudsonville
• Goal: 1,500 runners and walkers

Supporting Local Education:
Choose which foundation your entry supports during registration: Unity Christian, Hudsonville Public, or Jenison Public!

Registration Pricing:

• $35 through May 31st
• $40 June 1st through July 31st
• $50 August 1st through race day

 

🏃 The Course:

Get ready for a scenic, fun, and fast 5K course that starts and finishes at the iconic Hudsonville Community Fairgrounds. The route winds through the heart of Hudsonville, passes local landmarks like Gary Byker Memorial Library, Hudsonville Christian School, Hillcrest Christian Reformed Church, Park Elementary School, and Trinity Protestant Reformed Church, and runs through beautiful Hughes Park before finishing back at the Fairgrounds!

 

🎉 An Experience You Won't Forget

This is more than just a race, it's the perfect kickoff to Fair Week and a full-on community celebration! Our Race Director, Kevin J. Maas, will be on the mic keeping the energy high, announcing runners, telling stories, and bringing the Fair Week excitement all morning long.

 
💵 Cash Prizes

$500 cash for first, $250 for second, and $100 for third, for both the top male and female finishers! That's real money on the line and it's yours if you've got the legs for it. Come ready to race!

Top 3 finishers in every age group receive a special medal! Categories for both male and female runners:

14 & Under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65+

The fun doesn't stop at the finish line! The Hudsonville Community Fair, the Biggest Little Fair in Michigan, opens Monday August 24th and runs through August 29th. One week. 80,000 people. Rodeo, monster trucks, motocross, bump and run, pullers, off-road, midway rides, great food, and so much more. Run the 5K Saturday and celebrate all week long!

Free parking is available in the oversized lot west of Hughes Park. Please arrive early!
