Where - Race will be run through the town of Hickory Flat, MS on Saturday, May 2rd, 2026. There will be a 5K for all age divisions, as well as a 1 mile "Fun Run". Races will begin and end at the school gym parking lot on Spruce St.
Registration -Same day registration will be available for $35.(T-shirts will be available in limited sizes and quantities) Registration will open at 7:00 a.m. Prizes: Awards to top male and female 5k finishers overall. The top 3 male and 3 female 5k finishers will receive awards in each of the following age groups:
1-19; 20-29; 30- 39; 40- 49; 50- 59; 60+

Race officials reserve the right to cancel with no refund within two hours of start if severe weather is in the vicinity or forecast. In the event of bad weather, the race will be held on Saturday, May 10th.

Why - Funds from this event are to support activities within the Hickory Flat community as well as to provide resources to our local public school. This may include things such as rewards for student achievement, incentives for both faculty and students and classroom grants to provide a little something "extra" for student enrichment.
