Rock your favorite costume to take on a 5K full of Halloween-themed challenges and bring the kids for the Kids Fun Run and Costume Parade! Both events are hosted by Moving Mountains in support of Morningstar Learning Center.
The Kids Fun Run and Costume Parade is open to ages 12 and under. The route begins at Moving Mountains, heads down Town Center Avenue for some festive obstacles and finishes at the Visit Big Sky building for where a Haunted House will be staged. Parents or siblings are encouraged to join the fun by walking or running alongside the little ones.
Registration for the 5K is $30 and includes a Haunted Run swag tote bag, a beverage from Beehive Basin Brewery, and one raffle ticket for a Community Prize Basket. Additional raffle tickets can be purchased for $5 each or 5 tickets for $20, with all proceeds going to Morningstar Learning Center. This year’s course will take runners on a paved route through Grey Drake and Town Center.
Registration for the Kids Race is $20 and includes a Haunted Run swag tote bag, a token valid for entry to the Haunted House(Visit Big Sky Building), and an entry into the Moving Mountains Costume Contest.
Packet pick-up and registration for both events will take place at Moving Mountains from 10:30 to 11:30 am. Additional registration for the Kids Fun Run will be open from 1:00 to 1:35 pm.

1:45 pm – Kids Fun Run & Costume Parade
