Come support Hazard Police Department's 'Shop with a Cop' program by running or walking one of our 5k routes!
About HPD's Shop with a Cop program
or the past several years, the Hazard Police Department's Shop with a Cop program has operated on an annual budget of approximately $3,000, allowing officers to provide Christmas gifts for about 20 local children each year. The goal this year is to expand the program and serve even more children in the Hazard Independent School District. Beyond providing gifts, Shop with a Cop helps build positive relationships between local law enforcement and the children they serve by creating positive, lasting memories.
About the Race
We are offering 4 race categories:
- Family Friendly 5k Run- this route takes place on paved/gravel areas in Perry County Park
- Family Friendly 5k Walk- same route as the family friendly run
- Haunted 5k Run- This is a trail run not for the faint of heart! Come experience a haunted forest sure to make you run for your life!
- Haunted 5k Walk- same route as the haunted 5k run
Actors and runner/walkers on haunted 5k route will not be allowed to touch each other!
