The Hammond Rotary's Charity Shamrock Run, will offer runners an opportunity to run the 1-mile and 5K/10K. This year's course will be at the Renaissance Festival grounds in Hammond, Louisiana (46468 River Rd, Hammond, LA 70401). The 5K/10K will take you on roads around the festival and then around the small lake, through the Renaissance Village. T-Shirts are now optional, if you desire a t-shirt, add it on in check out! Please register by Monday, February 23rd, 2026 to guarantee that you'll get your desired size. We always order extra T's for late registration, but sizes will not be guaranteed after Feb 27th.
Start time for 1-Mile Fun Run is 8:00AM. 5K and 10K start time is 8:30AM. Walkers are welcome to participate in the 1 mile and 5K events! Due to time constraints, walkers are not allowed in the 10K.
We will have finisher medals for all 5K and 10K runners! We also have the following awards for: The top 3 overall male & female runners in the 5K and 10K (male & Female), 1st place in the 1 mile run Male & Female. 1st place in each age group (Male & Female). Age groups for 5K & 10K will be: 19 & Under. 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+. We will also have an 80+ age group for the 5K only.
We will also have special awards for the Best Costume and the Biggest Team, as well as, our unique "Beat the Leprechaun" challenge in the 10K. Beat our leprechaun in the 10K run and pick from the "Pot Of Gold" prizes donated by many of our sponsors!

Packet pick-up will be Thursday March 19th, 2025 from 10:00am-5:30pm, Alexis Ducorbier - State Farm Insurance, 304 Old Covington Hwy, Hammond, LA 70403 . Packets and T-shirts will be available race morning if you can't make it on Thursday, however, race morning lines tend to be long. Get your packet ahead of time to help us minimize the race morning lines.
Race Day Packet pick-up starts at 7:00am. We suggest picking up at least 1/2 hour before your race time.
Parking will be on the grounds of the Renaissance Festival.
