From the Organizer
Welcome to the Second GrassRoots Runnings Series. Hosted by CHS Cross Country Parent Association and the Hybrid Runner Foundation, this series is a community focused racing opportunity designed to promote running, build the local running community, and provide athletes with a chance to compete during the summer.
Races will be held on a grass cross country course at Smith Intermediate, offering a fast layout with moderate elevation changes. This provides a great introduction to cross country racing for younger athletes while still being competitive for experienced runners.
The event includes multiple divisions:
Elementary (1 mile)
Middle School
High School
Masters (community runners)
Whether you’re new to running or preparing for the upcoming season, this is a great opportunity to race, track progress, and compete in a positive and supportive environment.
This is not a championship-style meet there are no awards. The focus is on effort, improvement, and giving athletes the opportunity to showcase their hard work.
Come out, compete, and be part of building the running community in Cleburne.
