The Geist Half Marathon, 10K, 5K and 1 Mile presented by Meijer, returns for its 18th year on Saturday, September 13! Operated by the City of Fishers in partnership with Vision Events, the race showcases the beauty of Geist Reservoir with stunning water views, tree covered trails, and waterfront bridges. NEW this year, we’re bringing back the popular 10K course! The Geist Half Marathon race series includes a 5K (3.1 miles), 10K (6.2 miles), and a Half Marathon (21. 0975km or 13.1 miles). All participants receive a race shirt, medal, and access to the post-race party. VIP registration is also available.

How long to train: 10–14 weeks. If you're already running consistently, 10 weeks of structured buildup is enough. If you're building from a casual base, give yourself 14.
