Event: Royal Danish Air Force March / Danish Flyver March
What It Is:
A 20-kilometer (12.4 miles) ruck march hosted by the 317th Maintenance Operations Flight at Dyess AFB. The event provides service members the opportunity to complete an organized and supported 20 km foot march under load as part of the 2026 Royal Danish Air Force March.

What to Expect
Participants will complete a 20 km route consisting of three laps around the Dyess golf course area utilizing Bomb Run and Texas Drive. Water/support points will be positioned along the route.
Participants must carry a minimum 23lbs dry-weight ruck for the duration of the march. Ruck weight will be verified during check-in and at completion.
There is no official completion-time requirement for the Royal Danish Air Force March. However, the Dyess event will have a 6-hour administrative and support cutoff, concluding at 1100.
