Dream Run 5K is a running race on October 17, 2026 in Troy, MO, featuring the 5K distance.
From the Organizer
In 2015 a sophomore girl at Troy Buchanan High School had a passion to help the community by having a 5K. She created the Dream Run to support the Troy Dream Center (TDC). She chose the TDC to be the beneficiary because of their commitment to helping the community through community service and with a recovery home serving men and women.
The Dream Run is officially back, and it’s bolder, faster, and more inspiring than ever before! This year, we’re taking the excitement to the streets of historic downtown Troy, with a high-energy finish right in the TDC parking lot. Whether you’re a seasoned 5ker or looking for a fun morning stroll, this is your chance to unite with the community and champion the incredible work of the Troy Dream Center.
In an exciting first, participation in this year’s Dream Run is completely FREE! We want everyone to be part of this movement. While registration is free, we are calling on our community to help us supercharge our mission. October is "Double the Impact" month, and every donation you make goes twice as far toward providing help, hope, and healing for men and women within our recovery homes. Help us reach our goal and make this our most impactful run yet!
This year we will hold our run on Saturday, October 17th at 8:00am. With a 1-mile walk and 5K run, there's something for everyone! The 5K will start promptly at 8:00am, and the 1-Mile walk will start at 8:30am. The 1st 100 5k finisher will receive a custom Dream Run finishers medal. Also enjoy a resource fair with local community support agencies.
The Troy Dream Center (TDC) is a faith-based men’s & women’s residential recovery home in Lincoln County Missouri. The TDC focuses on supporting men & women who are overcoming life-controlling issues such as recovering from drug and alcohol addictions. The Dream Center has created a place where men & women can receive help, hope & healing for a healthy foundation to rebuild their lives.
