From the Organizer
Join us for a beautiful walk, run, or bike ride as we are raising project funds to take a District Mission Team to Chile, South America! This special 5K is sponsored by the Michigan District Nazarene Missions International and honors the life and legacy of Dr. John Seaman.
Dr. John Seaman and his wife, Linda, began serving as missionaries in 1976, first in Martinique. In 1987, they were reassigned to Côte d’Ivoire, where they helped pioneer the Church of the Nazarene’s work in West Africa. After leaving the mission field in 2003, Dr. John Seaman was elected superintendent of the Michigan District Church of the Nazarene, inspiring the Michigan District with passion and vision.
Dr. John Seaman was known for his joyful spirit and he loved wearing fun and colorful socks! In honor of him, we invite everyone to wear their most colorful, fun socks during the race.
Whether you walk, run, or bike, come be part of a meaningful event that celebrates missions, community, and the legacy of a life dedicated to sharing the gospel around the world.
