This inaugural event begins at HomeTrust Park, home of the Asheville Tourists, and takes runners on a scenic and energizing route through the heart of downtown Asheville before finishing in unforgettable fashion—on the baseball field’s warning track.
Race day kicks off with check-in opening at 7:00 AM (day before packet pick up to be announced), giving participants time to soak in the ballpark atmosphere and prepare for the 8:00 AM start. From the first step out of the stadium, runners will experience a dynamic course that blends the charm of Asheville’s vibrant streets with the thrill of a stadium finish.
As an official USA Track & Field certified course, runners can trust the accuracy of the 5K distance, ensuring every mile marker counts toward personal bests and race goals. USA Track & Field certification means the course has been precisely measured to meet national standards. Professional chip timing will be provided by Right on Time Productions, delivering accurate results and a seamless race-day experience.
