From the Organizer
CHA Animal Shelter's 36th Annual Dog Jog will take place on Sunday, October 4, 2026! We are excited again to offer an in-person option at Genoa Park in downtown Columbus, as well as a virtual option for those who cannot participate on race day but would still like to contribute to the cause! As a participant, you have the option to sign up for either event option when you register.
Those who choose the in-person event on October 4 at Genoa Park will enjoy a scenic run/walk in downtown Columbus and be able to visit a variety of vendor booths and participate in games and other activities. Those who choose to participate in the event virtually will not be officially timed for the race or have access to in-person event festivities, but can take part in the event between October 4 and October 11 by running or walking along their favorite neighborhood routes, on their local bike paths, or wherever running and walking is safely permitted.
Be sure to check out the "Additional Race Information" section below to view important details about the event, as well as some of our discount offers! Thanks so much for your support!
