Dash of Hope is a running race on November 14, 2026 in Avalon, NJ, with an entry fee of $25.
From the Organizer
Join us for the Dash of Hope, a fun run and walk honoring the memory of Mrs. Smallwood, who served as the beloved guidance counselor at Avalon and Stone Harbor Schools for many years. Known for her kindness, compassion, and unwavering support of students and families, Mrs. Smallwood left a lasting impact on our school community.
This event is not only a way to celebrate her life and the joy she brought to others, but also a chance for our community to come together in wellness and remembrance. Proceeds will benefit Friend in Need, a local charity that provides support to local families.
Whether you choose to run, walk, or cheer from the sidelines, we invite you to participate in this uplifting day of connection, remembrance, and community spirit. Together, we’ll honor Mrs. Smallwood’s legacy of care, support, and wellness.
