Join us for the 2cd annual Brenda Purcell Memorial 5K also known as Crazy's Christmas Run. The run will be held in Louisa Virginia on December 19th 2026 at 4pm. The run will start at Purcell Field which is at 208 Church Ave., Louisa Va. 23093. The course will be new and improved this year stay tuned for the unveiling of the new course! There will be a water station at the 1.5 mile marker. There will be overall cash prizes for the top 3 male and female. There will also be age group prizes for the following ages (male and female); 12 and under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39,40-49, 50-59,60-69 and 70+. All participants will receive a long sleeve unisex t-shirt and all finishers will receive a medal. Walkers are welcome to come and join the fun! All proceeds from the race will go to local charitable organizations. This year we are fundraising for Luke's Landing, an inclusive playground planned for the town of Louisa. We will also be raising funds for Louisa County High school as well as Fork Union Military Academy Cross Country and Track teams.
