Circles in the Park 5K

Circles in the Park 5K - March 13, 2027 - 8:00 am - Clinton Nature Preserve, Villa Rica, GA
This is our 3rd annual 5K trail run around scenic Clinton Nature Preserve in Villa Rica, GA. 
Medals will be given to the top 3 in each age group (10 year increments).  
All finishers will get a race-shirt along with snacks and drinks.
Runners and walkers are both welcome.  Dogs are welcome as long as they are leashed and you pick up after them.  Select the song to be played as you cross the finish.  It must be family friendly and we cannot guarantee that it will be played, but we will try.  Either way, it will be added to our Circles in the Park 5K Playlist on Spotify.   
Timing and results will be done with chipped bibs.

For those that have run it before, you might notice that we changed the name from "Circles DC 5K" to "Circles in the Park 5K".  It is still the same great event raising money for the same great cause.

Proceeds will go to Circles Douglas County which helps families in Douglas County become financially stable by matching them with middle- to high-income mentors who provide training in personal finance, employment, and communication skills. 

This is a fundraiser and there are multiple ways to donate:

• Participant - Just signing up is a contribution. Start with the “Sign Up” button.
• Participant + Donation - In the Sign Up process, you will see a “Donate” button where you can give above and beyond the registration fee.
• Donor - For those that want to give , but don’t need yet another tshirt. Start with the “Donate” button.
• Sponsor - For anyone giving $100 or more, your name or company will be on the tshirts. The highest tier of donations includes a one year ad on the Circles website and other benefits. Visit our Sponsorship page for more details

The 5K course is a trail run that follows the same course as many of the cross-country events that are held there.

7:00 am - Registration and Check-in Opens (bib distribution and last minute sign-up*)

7:30 am - Optional walk through of course

8:00 am - 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run Starts 
9:30 am - Award Ceremony

* same day sign-ups will be via your phone - no cash

The event will be rain or shine excluding thunderstorms.
