Come on, let's Turkey Trot!
The Community Building Institute - Middletown's fifth annual Turkey Trot in Middletown Ohio, is on Nov 14th at Triple Moon Coffee Company.
10:00am start time. Gates open at 8:30am.
Description:
Proceeds from this fundraiser support CBI's birth-to-five, out-of-school enrichment, workforce development, and family engagement programs as well as the Robert 'Sonny' Hill Community Center. Your registration comes with a bib to participate in the race, a swag bag, a t-shirt (if registered by 10/28), a participation medal, and a discount at Triple Moon Coffee Company. Youth tickets do not come with a shirt. Shirts only come in adult sizes and can be added to a youth registration for an additional $10.
Compete as an individual or with your business as a corporate team. Categorized prizes will be awarded to solo runners and a traveling trophy will be awarded to the corporate team with the lowest average runtime. The first three male runners and the first three female runners to cross the finish line will receive cash prizes.
5K/3.1-mile course starts on Broad Street. Parking will be available in the adjacent bus station parking lot and restaurant parking. Strollers and leashed dogs are welcome.
Pricing tiers:
Early Bird (8/26 - 9/13): $25
Tier 2 (9/14 - 10/14): $30
Tier 3 (10/15 - 11/14): $35
T-shirt deadline:
The deadline to ensure you receive a race t-shirt is Wednesday, October 28th, 2026. Registrants may add additional shirts at $10 each. After the race, visit the registration table to see if there any extra shirts remaining. Extra shirts will be distributed on a first come, first serve basis as participants cross the finish line, with priority given to those who missed the deadline.
Early check in:
Friday November 13th, registrants can check in and collect race materials early inside Triple Moon Coffee Company from 5pm-8pm. If you won't be checking in early, be sure to get to the race by 9:45AM to be assigned a bib and lineup at the start line by the 10AM start time.
Awards:
1st, 2nd, and 3rd place female and male prize winners can expect cash prizes ($300, $200, and $100 respectively) and gift cards. In addition to participation medals for every runner, there will be medals awarded to the first male and female of the following categories:

Register your company, business, or organization as a team and compete for the esteemed Traveling Trophy. The winning team with the lowest average runtime will keep the trophy at their offices for the year!
