This year we are introducing FUDGY! Our fun loving participant that is inviting you to the first race of the Burton Race Series. the 2027 Hot Fudge RunWalk. Come and enjoy a refreshing winter run/walk, connect with our community, and finish with fabulous goodies.
Every step also supports the Kiwanis mission to help kids in our community, so you’re not just running for yourself, you’re running for a cause that matters.

T-SHIRTS:
Long Sleeve T-Shirts are for sale for $20.00 in unisex sizes Small, Medium, Large, X-Large and 2X-Large ($22.00). Shirts are prepaid only through February 8, 2027 and will not be available for purchase at packet pick up or race day.
PACKET PICKUP:
Early packet pickup and late registration will be held on February 19, 2027 from 12 Noon until 3:00 p.m. at Complete Runner in Grand Blanc, Michigan.
Race day packet pickup and race day registration will open at 10:30 a.m. at Bentley Middle School.
5K RUN & 5K WALK AWARDS:
Celebrate your victory at the Hot Fudge Run with a sweet reward! Every finisher will cross the line and receive a custom finishers medal, a delicious testament to your accomplishment. But that’s not all! Top your triumph with glory, as each age group winner will receive an award. And for the overall champions and our dedicated masters (40+), prepare for an even sweeter surprise.

If you are unable to pickup your award after the event, they will be available at Complete Runner in Grand Blanc, Michigan until March 31, 2027.
VIRTUAL PARTICIPATION:
The virtual 5K gives you the freedom to complete your miles on your own schedule and in the location that works best for you. After registering, choose any route you like, such as your neighborhood, a park trail, or a treadmill, and run or walk your 3.1 miles. It is an easy, flexible way to stay active, support the event, and stay connected to the running community from wherever you are.
Participation in the 5K virtual event counts toward earning both the Hot Fudge Run medal and the Burton Race Series medal. Finisher medals will be available at pre-race packet pickup and after the race at Complete Runner in Grand Blanc, Michigan.
PARTICIPATION GIVEAWAY:

Facilities:
All pre‑Race and post‑race activities take place inside Bentley Middle School, giving participants a warm and comfortable space throughout the event. Restrooms and cafeteria seating are available for your convenience. The school also offers a large parking area, ensuring plenty of easy, on‑site parking for everyone.
Dog Policy:
Dogs are welcome at the Hot Fudge Run. We just have a few rules to keep things safe and smooth for everyone.
Dogs must stay on a short leash (4 ft or less) at all times.
Please start at the back of the pack.
Dogs are not allowed inside the buildings.

COURSE:
The course is 5 kilometers/3.1 miles, beginning and ending at Bentley Middle School. The course will be open to vehicle traffic. Participants will cross the I-69 pedestrian crosswalk twice. An interactive course map is available here. A PDF map is available here.
This is a winter race, so please be prepared for the possibility of snow and icy conditions on the course. Please be advised, the expressway pedestrian crosswalk will not be cleaned if snow falls immediately prior to or during the event. We cannot take a chance on snow or ice falling on vehicles while clearing a path.
FACILITIES:
All registration, award, and post race festivities will be in the Bentley Middle School where it is nice and warm.
