This run and walk isn’t a race—it’s a community celebration of movement, connection, and gratitude. All distances are 1 mile, whether you want to run your fastest or enjoy a walk with family.
While this event is completely free, we ask that you bring non-perishable food items or toiletries to donate. We will be collecting these items to share with those less fortune during this holiday season.
This event is proudly supported by the Newark City Parks Foundation. All are welcome—come move with us before the feast!
Check-in begins at 8:00 am. Please arrive early. The run and walk begin at 9:00 am and you must be checked-in and registered to participate.
Parking is limited, so we encourage you to walk, carpool and uses public transportation.
