The Big Gay 5K is the centerpiece of Big Gay Weekend—a colorful, high-energy run and walk through Barrio Viejo followed by High Heel Havoc and extended post-race programming in Armory Park. The celebration begins Friday with the Kickoff Kiki at HighWire, featuring bib pickup, drinks, sign-making and plenty of pre-race sparkle. Throughout the weekend, independently produced events across Tucson will join the Big Gay Weekend umbrella, giving locals and visitors even more ways to celebrate queer joy across the city.
