Overview
The 5k and 9k trail races are run in the shadow of Yellowstone National Park. Both courses have spectacular views of Electric Peak and other prominent peaks in northwest Yellowstone. There is 1k feet of climbing in the 9k and 400 ft of climbing in the 5k. There will also be a 5k walk utilizing the same course as the 5k run and a 1k kids run with a ton of fun obstacles.
Aid Stations
There is one aid station with water only halfway through the 9k course after you are done with the major climb. There are no aid stations in the 5k.
Post-Race
We will have water, Gatorade, fresh fruit, cookies, muffins, and beer (for those over 21).
Awards
Awards for the following in both the 5k and 9k: Top 3 overall male and female; 1st place in these age groups: 17 and under; 18-39; 40 and over.
