What: Get ready for a unique Austin experience where running meets tacos! Join us for a fun run/walk where participants will tackle the route while stopping along the way to enjoy some of Austin’s favorite tacos.
Who: everyone can participate, if you run with other run clubs please let your club run leader know and bring your crew, the space is limited once we think we have plenty of participants we'll close registrations. Participants under 18 must be accompanied by their guardian
Pre-Order Tacos: The fee to participate eating and running tacos is $40. This includes 4 tacos from options we provide ( one from each restaurant) , small white number with safety pins and medal.
Roads & Trails:This is not an official race. Please note that roads and trails will remain open to traffic and the public. Participants are responsible for staying alert, following all traffic laws, and practicing proper trail etiquette.
Parking: Parking is free on Sunday, please read the signs before leaving your car. do not block driveways. We are not responsible for towing fees and tickets.
Route: Please download the RUNGO app and have the route ready before the event. route link will be announced few weeks before the run. Link to route: TBA here
Safety: Please wear reflective gear, and bring headlamp if you have one, especially in case of low visibility. Let's make sure we're seen out there.
Water: There will be one water stop along the route. Please bring your handheld water bottle so you can refill it along the way.
Reminders:
• Use sidewalks whenever possible.
• Do not run in the middle of the trail.
• Be respectful and share the trail with other community members.
• Stay aware of your surroundings and be courteous to all trail users.
Medal:
ORDER AND DELIVERY TIMELINE: Orders placed by Sept 5th, will be ready for you to pick up after the taco challenge. After Sept 5th- September 30th medals will be available to pick up at group runs or Fleet Feet Austin. We’ll let you know when we have them ready.
Last day to register to this challenge is October 12th.
