Please join us for the annual 5K run/walk through beautiful Nebraska City on Saturday morning, September 19, 2026, in conjunction with the city’s AppleJack Festival! We encourage participation of everyone from the beginner to experienced road runners - proceeds from this event go back into the Nebraska City community.
The route for this 5K begins in Steinhart Park in Nebraska City. Portions of the race will be on brick, gravel, and rough terrain. Strollers and dogs (on leashes) are welcome and encouraged! Meet at Steinhart Park in front of Steinhart Aquatic Center at 7:00 a.m. The run begins at 7:30 a.m. Rain or Shine! Plenty of free parking is available at Steinhart Lodge at the intersection of Sylvan Road & Steinhart Park Road: https://maps.app.goo.gl/jfVxVJKk6a2MayXq5 , (first come first serve) and Nebraska City High School, 141 Steinhart Park Road: https://maps.app.goo.gl/VkBNjiN6tgvbr8uc8 Restrooms are available at the start/finish.
There will be a short Kids Run beginning at 8:30 a.m. in Steinhart Park. The Kids Run is free (no registration necessary for kids)! No shirts provided for the kids run.
