Get ready for a fantastic mid-season challenge and a sun-soaked adventure at our 15th Annual Dog Days 5K, 10K, and half marathon, proudly benefiting Lifeline Puppy Rescue! Held in a central location convenient to both Denver and Boulder, our courses go along the scenic concrete-paved Big Dry Creek Trail as it winds northeast. You'll enjoy breathtaking views of the Flatirons on the horizon while you run.
This event is perfect for both human and dog athletes! The trail offers a generous amount of soft surface, especially along the 10K and half marathon routes, making it ideal for dogs. We celebrate our canine competitors with a separate dog division for each distance, where the first three finishing dogs will receive a medal, award, and prize. (Just remember to register your dog the morning of the event!) . For extra fun, join our dog-themed costume contest!
After conquering Dog Days, keep the challenge going by participating in the "endless series" counterpart, Fa La La, held in December.
