Experience Spring Hill Cemetery Park and Arboretum like never before! Join us for a unique trail run or hike through history and nature, benefiting the Mary Price Ratrie Arboretum located right within the cemetery grounds.
🌲 About the Event
This is a short but challenging 4-mile-ish route with over 800 ft of elevation gain. Whether you’re racing for a top spot or taking a fall hike, you'll traverse green lanes, single-track woodland boundary trails, and open ridge tops featuring stunning views up and down the Kanawha Valley—all during peak autumn colors!
Keep an eye out for local wildlife like deer and box turtles, as well as historic monuments honoring the individuals who shaped Charleston’s rich history.

Signage and stewards will direct participants to designated parking at the East and West gates (up to a 1/2-mile walk to the start line). Carpooling from Laidley Field is encouraged.

After event expenses, 100% of proceeds go directly to the Friends of Spring Hill Cemetery Park & Arboretum for future tree planting and maintenance in the Mary Price Ratrie Arboretum. This 501(c)(3) non-profit works in cooperation with the City of Charleston to preserve, enhance, and develop this historic space for the entire community.
