Come out and get your fitness on with a 5k timed race along the bike paths in Long Beach with a view of the ocean. Starting at our monthly beach cleanup location near Saltwater Deck, this will be an out & back 5k on flat fast course. BE SAFE and watch for cyclists, dogs, beach goers, and fitness enthusiasts that use the path daily.
Sponsor a Kid: We want to send a group of kids to CIMI on Catalina Island, a ocean science weekend. Sponsor a kid, any amount and we will pool the funds to make sure a kid runs instead of you, earning his/her spot on the list to go to Catalina. Thank you in advance for your generosity.
TEAMS OF 5 OR MORE GET $5 OFF...Here's how: The first four people signing up for the team pay current price. Anyone signing up for team after the fourth person gets $5 off current price and the first four people will then automatically get a $5 refund. Can't make it to the event? Choose our Virtual Option and do it in your neighborhood. On site, browse through our booths and learn about ocean health, sharks, and fitness from our sponsors. Located at our beach cleanup location near Saltwater Deck. This is a fundraising event with an Opportunity drawing supporting Shark Stewards, a fiscally sponsored project of Earth Island Institute, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Shark Stewards works to protect sharks and preserve healthy ocean ecosystems.
