From the Organizer
Join us on Saturday, October 3, 2026, for our 9th Annual A Walk in Her Shoes, a day dedicated to honoring the strength, resilience, and journeys of women impacted by cancer.
This year, My Sister’s Keeper is proud to partner with Fatima Family Center as we bring this signature event to Ward 8. Every two years, A Walk in Her Shoes intentionally moves to a different Cleveland neighborhood, allowing us to deepen our impact, engage new communities, and bring awareness, education, and support directly into the communities we serve.
Location:
Fatima Family Center
6600 Lexington Avenue
Cleveland, OH 44103
Time:
10:30 AM–2:00 PM
Walk With Her. Rise With Her.
This year’s theme reminds us that healing was never meant to happen alone.
To walk with her means standing beside cancer warriors and survivors through moments of uncertainty, treatment, celebration, grief, and triumph.
To rise with her means lifting one another higher—through community, advocacy, hope, and sisterhood.
Together, we walk not only to raise awareness, but to honor the power, beauty, and resilience of women whose journeys continue to inspire us all.
A Walk in Her Shoes is more than a walk—it is a movement and celebration of life.
Whether you are a survivor, caregiver, family member, healthcare advocate, or walking in memory of someone you love, your presence matters.
We gather to:
• Celebrate survivorship
• Raise awareness around cancer and early detection
• Honor loved ones
• Connect families to resources and support
• Build community through healing and hope
Every step tells a story.
Every mile carries purpose.
Every participant becomes part of something bigger.
