WHY WE RUN

Patriot Day is observed each year on September 11 in remembrance of those who lost their lives as a result of the attacks of September 11, 2001.

Twenty-six years later, we remember.

We remember those who never made it home.
We honor the first responders who ran toward danger.
We recognize the service members who answered the call in the years that followed.

And together, we teach another generation the importance of service, sacrifice, leadership, and community.

🎉 MORE THAN A RACE
Stick around after you cross the finish line!

Our Patriot Day celebration will include free food and beverages, entertainment, our commemorative ceremony, awards, and more.

Pleasanton River Park also features a splash pad, zipline, skate park, and an interactive playground, making this an event the whole family can enjoy.

🌦️ RAIN OR SHINE
The 7th Annual Patriot Day 5K & 1-Mile Walk will take place rain or shine.

If severe weather or other conditions make it unsafe to hold the event, registered participants will be notified by email and updates will be posted on social media.
