Come out for and have tons of fun at the Clarkston Family Farm. The day will start with our 5th annual 5k Chicken run/walk and a 1 mile Chicken Little Run. Both races will start at the same time and you are welcome to run/walk either race. When the 1k race ends you can continue on if you choose to do the 5k. Both races are for Kids and adults.
Park at the elementary school.
Check in starts at 8am. You will get your shirt and numbers with the timing chip. Race starts sharp at 9am.
Top racers in each age category will receive prizes. Chip timed. Early registered racers will receive shirt and medal on race day.
The school with the top % of participation (min 25 participants) will win a free family fun day for the school at the farm up to $500 value not including hayrides.
The school with the most money raised from donations (min $500) to the farm through the donation registration site will win an on site hands on learning adventure. May include farm animals, planting activity, nature craft and more. 90 minute After school on site dates January through March.
There will be food, drinks, shirts and medals for the runners.
After the race there will be a Hog Jog race with the farm pigs. Pick your favorite pig to win!!
Vendor booths will be set up to enjoy and the farm market will be open.
Lots of animals to see and you can also take a walk through our gardens and hoop house.

Why a fundraiser? Our non-profit educational farm for kids is committed to safe and dignified access to our farm, garden and learning spaces not for just some kids but for all kids of all ages and abilities. If you agree, that all kids should be able to enjoy our farm then please help us! How?
Participate in The Chicken Run Race, Donate to the race, Sponsor the race, come watch and support the farm and the schools. And if you are associated with one of our schools, do not forget to assign your name to a school.
Late registrations will receive shirt and medal approximately 3-5 weeks after the race. Please register before the deadline.
