5K RACE TO REPLACE HATE (2027)

The Annual Asian Heritage Fest at Asia Times Square will take place on May 14-15th, 2027 in honor of Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) Heritage Month!

We invite you to run/walk with us at the 3rd annual "5K RACE TO REPLACE HATE." Celebrate and support the diverse heritage of the AANHPI Community with the DFW Metroplex as we stride forward together for 3.1 miles to replace hate with LOVE, COMMUNITY, and CULTURE.

*Registration net proceeds will be donated to the Texas Chapter: Asian American / Pacific Islander Nurses Association, Inc. (AAPINA)  Can't walk/run in person? No worries! Choose our Virtual option and receive your T-shirt and Medal by mail.

Kids 3 and under can run FREE from parent(s) and dogs & strollers are welcome (please line up according to pace - i.e., walkers at the back)

REFUND/CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancelation Policy: This event will proceed rain or shine or snow or cold.  For that reason, we have a strict no refund policy.

In the event of extreme weather, the start time of this event may be delayed by up to an half hour. Past this time, the even course may be shortened or altered to protect the participants.

If conditions turns into lightening, ice or become unsafe, the event may be cancelled. Event changes and cancellations are at the discretion of the Race Director. 

We always strive to produce a full and safe sporting event, but sometimes the weather conditions can affect those plans. 

A lot of hours, days and even months goes into planning a sporting event and we do so with the best intentions. Unfortunately, no one can control the weather and race directors are not the exceptions.

Our goal is to always produce a full event as scheduled and only modify these plans due to safety concerns some of which can be caused by weather conditions. 

Thank you for your understanding of these policies and we appreciate your participation.

If you are unable to participate in the event, or the event is canceled, you can still receive your packet, shirt, and medal and you simply run the race on your own time on your own course. See our virtual race information for complete details.
