39th Annual Ripton Ridge Run

THE RIPTON RIDGE RUN is an annual fundraiser to benefit Ripton Students, put on by Friends of Ripton Students, Inc. The race includes a 5K run, a 10.4K run, and a non-competitive 5K Fun Walk. There is also a short, non-competitive Kids Race for young children. The Ridge Run takes place on the Sunday of Indigenous People's  weekend. Race courses traverse roads in Ripton and the Green Mountain National Forest. The virtual event can be completed wherever you like.  

Race day registration, packet pickup, race start and finish, lunch, raffle and awards are at the former Ripton Elementary School at 753 Lincoln Road in Ripton.

REGISTRATION:  On-line registration opens Sunday August 16th and runs through Friday October 9th. The registration fee is $40 for adults, $25 for seniors and children 15 and under, and includes lunch, raffle, prizes and, for the first 150 paid entrants, a long-sleeved t-shirt.  If you don't want a shirt $5.00 will be subtracted from the fee.  Prices increase for registrations received after October 6th. A credit card transaction charge will be added to the on-line registration fee.  Multiple registrations are possible with a single transaction and the transaction fee will adjust.   *Please note that age-based pricing will be reflected on the check-out page!

Race day registration is available between 11 and 12.  Races start at 12:30.

COURSE: Both courses are primarily gravel.  The 5K course is an out and back. The 10.5K is a loop course and will be run counter-clockwise this year. 

LOCATION/TIME: Races begin and end at the former Ripton Elementary School (now known as the Ripton Municipal Building) starting at 12:30 pm.  We'll keep our website updated for any race-day updates, so check for the latest information.
