From the Organizer
Wy'east Trailfest presented by Speedland is a celebration of mountain trail running featuring Mt. Hood’s illustrious alpine terrain. Wildly beautiful, dynamic and challenging 50 miler, 50K, 28K & 14K mountain courses reach Oregon’s alpine rooftop at 8000’ on Saturday, followed by more cruisy and scenic Half Marathon & 8K (5 miler) trail races on Sunday for those looking for a more approachable trail experience! The Kids Race rounds out the weekend in heartwarming fashion on Sunday as well.
Whether racing, volunteering or spectating, join us up high on Wy'east (the native ancestral name for Mt. Hood) to honor the mountain, celebrate the sport of trail running and this incredible community. We’ll cheer and shout every single runner’s name at the finish as we celebrate with awards, great food, craft beverages, fun finish line games and activities up high at Mt. Hood Meadows.

This race spans more than one sport — here’s a guide to each, so you can understand what’s involved and decide if it’s the right fit. For course distances, logistics, and race-day specifics, always defer to the race organizer’s event page.
From 5K to marathon, running races are the most accessible entry point into endurance sport. There's a distance for every fitness level and a community at every start line.
Running off-road — dirt, singletrack, and mountain paths — from 5Ks to ultras. The terrain, not the pace, is the whole point.
