NorthPointe’s 18th Annual Turkey  Trot Family, Friends, Tradition

Whether you come to chase a personal best, walk with your family, run with friends, represent your department, push a stroller, or simply enjoy being part of a Thanksgiving morning tradition, we want you here!

Our goal: To give you, the runners and walkers participating  in our event, a memorable Thanksgiving Day NorthPointe Turkey Trot experience!

We are encouraging some friendly interdepartmental competition amongst the departments of the Beloit Health System.

An award will be presented to the department with the most Turkey Trotters.

An award will be presented to the Family/Friend group with the most Turkey Trotters.

So that you can enjoy more of your Thanksgiving holiday, awards will be mailed.

This event will take place outdoors, so please dress appropriately for Thanksgiving morning weather. 

New for Thanksgiving 2026 — The Tiny Trot!

A Big Thanksgiving Adventure for Little Trotters!

Get ready for a brand-new Thanksgiving tradition at NorthPointe! The Tiny Trot is an exciting, ½-mile, non-timed walk/run designed for all ages and abilities. Whether you’re bringing a wheelchair, stroller, wagon, little ones, or simply want to enjoy the NorthPointe Turkey Trot at a more manageable distance, the Tiny Trot is for you!

There’s no clock to beat and no pace to maintain—just a fun, festive way to get moving and celebrate Thanksgiving morning together.

🦃 The Tiny Trot Route

The Tiny Trot will begin at 8:00 a.m. on Thanksgiving morning, using the same starting line as the NorthPointe Turkey Trot.

Tiny Trotters will head west along the NorthPointe campus drive, travel around NorthPointe Terrace, and safely cross the intersection before continuing onto the trail. The route then winds uphill alongside our first waterfall. Once at the top of the hill, Tiny Trotters will make their way to the finish line beneath the NorthPointe Birth Center’s porte cochère.

The route is designed to accommodate wheelchairs, strollers, wagons and participants of all mobility levels, making it a wonderful way for everyone to be part of the Thanksgiving morning celebration.

🔥 The Birth Center Patio Celebration

The fun doesn’t have to stop at the finish line!

The NorthPointe Birth Center patio will be the perfect gathering place to relax, warm up and cheer on the Turkey Trot runners as they pass by twice on their way to completing the 5K.

Gather around the fire pit, warm up next to the patio heaters, and enjoy some Thanksgiving morning treats, including:

☕ Hot cocoa
🍪 Chocolate cookies
🍌 Bananas with chocolate syrup for dipping

Whether you’re a Tiny Trotter, a Turkey Trotter, a family member, a friend or a spectator, everyone is invited to join the celebration

REGISTRATION GUIDELINES

ALL REGISTRATION FEES ARE FINAL.

• Participants must register online in advance.
• No paper registration will be offered.
• There will be NO race-day registration for any reason.
• The registration deadline is midnight Sunday, November 22, 2026.
• Race packets will not be available for pickup on Thanksgiving morning.
• If you cannot make it to packet pickup, please coordinate with a family member, friend or coworker to pick up your packet.

Packet Pickup

Monday, November 23: 2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Tuesday, November 24: 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Wednesday, November 25: 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.

Registration deadline is at midnight Sunday November 22, 2025.

We will not be offering race day pick up. Please coordinate with someone to pick up your packet if you are unable to make it before Thanksgiving.

Start Line South Patio for both events:

• The Tiny Trot will begin at 8:00 a.m. Non-timed
• The Turkey Trot 5K begins at 8:30.a.m. Chip-timed
• Once you cross the timing equipment at the starting line, your official time will begin. (5K only)

On Course 5K:
• There will be 1 water station on course and 1 water station at the start/finish line.
• Minimal volunteers will be on the course.  It is your responsibility to know the course and run it safely.

Finish Line:

Once you cross the finish line, please keep moving through the finish area toward the exit. To help keep things moving smoothly for everyone, participants will be required to continue out of the finish-line area.

Then head back to the south patio, catch your breath, celebrate, and grab some refreshments including:
☕ Hot cocoa
🍪 Chocolate cookies
🍌 Bananas with chocolate syrup for dipping

Results:
• Results will not be posted on site.
• Participants who opted in during the registration process will receive a text message with their time shortly after crossing the finish line.
• Results will be updated throughout the event at www.runsignup.com
