The Murphey Candler Park Conservancy (MCPC) is excited to announce the Annual Duck Duck Goose 5K taking place October 11, 2025. Race starts at 8am sharp. This fundraiser supports the Murphey Candler Park Conservancy and our efforts to make Murphey Candler Park one of the premier parks in Metro Atlanta.

REGISTRATION
Register Online at runsignup.com up until 8:00am on 10/11/25.
Go to www.runsignup.com and search “Brookhaven Duck Duck Goose”
• Early bird registration = $25-5K and $15-1 mile until 11:59PM on 9/9/25.
• Registration = $30-5K/$20-1mile until 11:59PM on 9/28/24 then becomes $35-5K/$25-1mile.
• Online registration closes at 8:00AM on 10/11/25.
* Race Day Registration will be available for $40-5k/$30-1Mile via QR code from 7:00 am to 7:45 am. Credit card or debit card only. No cash or check will be accepted. (No t-shirt is guaranteed) In order to receive a DDG T-Shirt, you must register online no later than 11:59 pm on 10/6/25.
Those not interested in running can register as phantom runners to support the conservancy and receive an event T-shirt.
SHIRTS
Long sleeve shirts are guaranteed for online registrants registering by 10/6/2025.
PACKET PICK-UP
• Packet Pick-up will be in Murphey Candler Park at the Duck Duck Social (located off Candler Lake East and Horseshoe Road - close to Tennis Courts) on Friday, October 10, 2025 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Walk-up Registration and Packets may be picked up the day of the race starting at 7:00 a.m. (Note: No T-shirts guaranteed for day of race registration).
PROCEEDS
This fundraiser supports the Murphey Candler Park Conservancy and our efforts to make Murphey Candler Park one of the premier parks in Metro Atlanta.
RACE START
5k race starts at 8am sharp.There will be water stations along the course. The course winds through the park's beautiful trails and neighborhood.
1-Mile Fun Run starts at 8:30am and is great for smaller kids and families.
PARKING INSTRUCTIONS
Parking will be available at the Atlanta Colts Football and Murphey Candler Little League lots, and gravel lots off Candler Lake East.
STARTING LOCATION
The race will start and finish in the Murphey Candler Park Open Field Space (aka County Corner) located at corner of Candler Lake East and West Nancy Creek Drive.
