From the Organizer
Join us on Saturday, August 1st, 2026 for the first annual Y We Ride: a biking fundraiser for the Cortland and Tompkins County YMCA's. The ride will start at Tompkins Cortland Community College and traverse throughout Tompkins and Cortland Counties. Riders can select to particpate in the 26, 55 or 100 mile bike ride.
The ride will be supported by rest stops complete with snacks, water, restrooms, a SAG crew both in vehicle and bike support, cue sheets which can be synced up with RideWithGPS, and an end of ride dinner celebration back at TC3. There will be regional highlights on all three rides.
Riders are asked to pay the registration fee of $35 and funraise a minimum of $150 for the 26 mile ride, $175 for the 50 mile ride or $200 for the 100 mile ride or pay the corresponding registration fee if they do not wish to fundraise on behalf of the YMCA's. Solo riders and teams are encouraged to register.
Registration includes biking support day of the ride, dinner and a t-shirt (if registration in complete by July 10th-the shirt deadline by our printing company.) Additional merchandise will be available to purchase after the ride.
Routes are being finalized and will be available on our website shortly.
