Walk a Mile in Their Shoes is a running race on October 1–7, 2026 in Atlanta, GA, with an entry fee of $30.
From the Organizer
Walk a Mile in Their Shoes is a cornerstone of our Paint Atlanta Purple initiative, held each October in recognition of National Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Each year, advocates, survivors, corporate teams, families, and supporters from across the country come together to raise awareness, honor survivors, remember those we've lost, and stand united in the movement to end domestic violence.
This year, we're excited to offer both in-person and virtual participation, making it easier than ever for supporters everywhere to get involved. Whether you join us in Atlanta or participate from your own community, every step you take helps shine a light on domestic violence and demonstrates that survivors are never alone.
